While filling out the application, please remember:
Answer all of the questions as they relate to the term for which you are applying. For example, if you will graduate high school in June 2013 and are applying for admission in Summer or Fall 2013, then you will be a "First Time Student." If you are not enrolled in the Spring 2013 term, but were enrolled in prior terms, then you will be a "Returning Student."
New Students -- Complete the online application for admission. If you think you may not complete the application in one sitting it is very important for you to write down the username and password you create to use this system--you will need it again to resume work on your application. However, the username and password you create is only for this application process. You will also need an e-mail address--if you don't have one here are instructions and resources for obtaining a free e-mail address. 24-business hours after you submit your application for admission you will be able to access the NVC online student system WebAdvisor (accessible from our website).
High School Students (Special Admit/Concurrent, K-12) -- If you are a Special Admit student enrolling in college courses and have not graduated from High School prior to the start of the semester, you will need to complete, sign, and submit a Permit to Attend form in addition to completing this online application. You should also review the High School Student Checklist.
Continuing Students -- If you attended classes at NVC in Spring 2013, then you are considered a Continuing Student for the Summer and Fall 2013 terms. DO NOT complete this online application; instead go to the WebAdvisor page to determine your priority and registration date or register.
Returning Students -- If you have attended classes at Napa Valley College in the past, or think you have, please do not fill out this application. If you have not attended within the past two years, please complete the Statement of Legal Residence Form and submit with documentation to the Admissions & Records Office. For more information call Admissions & Records at (707) 256-7200.
International Students -- If you are a citizen of another country visiting or planning to visit the United States to study on an F-1 Student Visa, complete this application, then YOU MUST follow these Steps For Admission.
