A message from the campus:

Welcome to West Valley College - the most beautiful college campus in California. Your successful educational experience starts here! This online application will allow you to apply to the College to enroll for the Winter term and Spring semester. If you are interested in a late start Fall class, please submit a  paper application to the Admissions Office. We are excited about helping you achieve your goal.  

 If you are NEW to WVC, complete this on-line application.  If you are a RETURNING student (just missed a semester), simply update your information within your CCCApply application.

The enrollment process is  6 easy steps:

1. Complete this on-line application. You should receive a confirmation email within 24hrs. ( Please keep the confirmation number for future reference.)

2. You will receive a second email with your student ID  number, your PIN and information about registering. New students will begin to regsiter in December. You need to accomplish Steps 4 and 5 before your registration.

3. Never attended college? Complete the assessments in English, Reading and Math.   Go to westvalley.edu for the schedule.

4. Attend your college orientation with a Counselor guiding your educational planning.

5. Register and pay for classes! 

6. Apply for financial aid to pay for your education. Assistance is available. Call 408-741-2024.

Are you an International Student?   Complete an International Student Application packet. The packet is available in the Admissions Office or we will happily mail one to you. To request the packet, please go to the International Student web page: www.westvalley.edu/wvc/services/international/.

High School Students Go to our website at www.westvalley.edu  for more information or to download the Concurrent Enrollment packet. Concurrent Enrollment students cannot use this online application.  We began to accept CE packets for students wishing to enroll for Winter and Spring on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the West Valley College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
