Summer / Fall 2013

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • You need to apply if you have never attended SWC or did not attend classes in the previous semester.
  • If you are under 18 years of age, or currently attending high school, you may apply online.  Prior to enrolling in classes additional documentation must be submitted, please see criteria below. 
  • If you are an International Student and wish to apply, please go to the Admissions & Registration link, and then select International Student's information page on our website, prior to submitting your online application.
  • Once you submit your application, registration instructions will be sent to you via email.  Make sure to add admissions@swccd.edu to your safe sender list as most information will be sent to you via email.  Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive email from admissions@swccd.edu within 24 hours.

 

UNDER 18 or HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Students who are under 18 or not a High School graduate please click on the following link for High School Special Information, for additional criteria needed prior to enrolling in classes. 
Students who are under 18 and a High School graduate, must show proof of high school diploma or equivalency prior to enrolling in classes.

 

SOCIAL SECURITY:
Social Security number is no longer mandatory to apply online.  However, your Social Security number is still important and required for Hope and Lifelong learning (1098T) tax form, Financial Aid, and Board of Governor Fee Waiver (BOGW) transactions.

 

Military Selective Service - Male Applicants:
You have an obligation to register in accordance with the federal Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App 451 et seq.) if you are a U.S. citizen or male alien living in the United States whose age is 18 through 25. Additional information can be obtained at the U.S. Post Office or at the Web site of the Selective Service http://www.sss.gov/.

FINANCIAL AID:
To submit a Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver (BOGFW) or FAFSA application, click the Financial Aid link. 

 

 

SUMMER/FALL 2013
for graduating
High School Seniors ONLY

 

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS, CLASS 2013:
Students who will be graduating in the class of 2013 from High School can submit the application now for the Summer/Fall 2013 semester.  Only apply for the semester you plan to attend, failure to do so will delay your registration process.

How to Use the Southwestern College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
