We are currently accepting Spring 2010 applications
&
Summer 2010
If have applied for Spring 2010 and are a registered student
You do not need to apply for Summer 2010.
Note: You do not need to apply for multiple terms. Please only apply for the term you are going to attend
Eligibility:
- You are eligible to apply online if, you are 18 years or older or a High School Graduate
- You need to apply if you have never attended SWC or did not enroll one or more consecutive semesters
- If you are an International Student and wish to apply, please go to the Admissions & Registration link, and then select International Student's information page on our website
- Once you submit your application, registration instructions will be sent to you via email. Make sure to add admissions@swccd.edu to your safe sender list as most information will be sent to you via email. Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive email from admissions@swccd.edu within 24 hours.
Social Security:
Social Security number is no longer mandatory to apply online. However, your Social Security number is still important and required for Hope and Lifelong learning (1098T) tax form, Financial Aid, and Board of Governor Fee Waiver (BOGW) transactions.
JUNE 2010 High School Graduates:
If you are applying for Summer or Fall 2010 and you will be graduating in June 2010, please enter the information on you application as if you have already graduated. Failure to do so could delay your registration process.
Military Selective Service - Male Applicants
You have an obligation to register in accordance with the federal Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App 451 et seq.) if you are a U.S. citizen or male alien living in the United States whose age is 18 through 25. Additional information can be obtained at the U.S. Post Office or at the Web site of the Selective Service http://www.sss.gov/ |

Application Instructions
- Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
- NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
- REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the Southwestern College Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
