IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES
Winter Session 2010: January 11 - February 20, 2010
Spring 2010: February 22 - June 19, 2010
The application period for both Winter session 2010 and Spring semester 2010 will open October 1, 2009.
10/01/09 - Online application available for Winter and/or Spring 2010
01/08/2010 - Last day to submit online application for Winter 2010 session
02/19/2010 - Last day to submit online for Spring 2010 semester
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are enrolled in the current semester at PCC, you do not need to re-apply.
If you have previously applied or enrolled at PCC, use the same social security number or use the same 9-digit ID number that you were assigned.
Look for an email from PCC the day after submitting your application. If you have been cleared, the email will be your admission notice. Print the email and carry it with you; it is your Permit to Register and your temporary PCC ID. If your application is not cleared you will receive an email notifying you of the delay in processing. |

Application Instructions
- Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
- NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
- REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.
- If PCC requires additional documents (e.g., transcripts, California residency evidence), we will notify you by email.
- After PCC receives all the required documents, we will send you an admission confirmation and a registration appointment time. YOU MAY NOT REGISTER FOR CLASSES UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THIS INFORMATION.
- F-1 Visa Students: In addition to this application, you must also complete the International Students application. Click the link to go to that application, print it out, complete it, and submit it by mail or in person to the International Student Office.
- K-12 Students: If you wish to take classes at PCC, you must also complete the Recommendation for Admission of Selected Students form (download below). Click the link, print out and complete the form, obtain the necessary signatures, and take it along with your most recent high school transcript to the PCC Admissions and Records Office at the address below.

- When non-residents of California register for classes, they must pay non-resident tuition in addition to enrollment and other fees. (For more information on residence determination, click here). However, non-resident students who attended high school in California for three or more years; graduated from a California high school or attained the equivalent (e.g., passed the California high school proficiency or GED exam); and are US citizens, immigrant aliens, or never-documented aliens may be eligible for exemption from non-resident tuition. If this description applies to you, submit a California Non-Resident Tuition Exemption Request form (download below). Click the link, print out and complete the form, and mail. (see address below)

- If you wish to apply for a Board of Governors’ Fee Waiver (BOGFW fee waiver) or other financial aid, click here to begin the process. Mail to the Financial Aid Office.
- If you have attended PCC before and were disqualified, you must complete and submit a Petition for Reinstatement on Probationary Status (download below). Click the link, print out and complete the form, and mail. (see address below)

How to Use the Pasadena City College Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
