        2012 APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION 

 

If you have already submitted your application to Los Angeles Southwest College, you can access Special Links and Opportunities and your Application Confirmation by going to the Application Manager.

Los Angeles Southwest College is no longer accepting online applications for Spring 2012.  Applicants wishing to apply for short term classes must submit an Add Permit to Admissions and Records no later than 7:00pm, April 16, 2012. 

 

The Spring 2012 term begins February 6, 2012 and ends June 4, 2012.  Short term classes begin Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

 

 Term Dates and Information

 

  We are not offering a Summer 2012 term this year.

 

Fall 2012 semester begins August 27, 2012 and ends December 16, 2012.  We will begin to accept online Applications for Admission on May 15, 2012.

 

 

   Who Should Apply?

 

  • Anyone who has never attended Los Angeles Southwest College.

  • Any LASC student that did not attend Spring 2011 or Fall 2011.

  • High School students over 13 years of age may also apply online.  A Supplemental Application Form (K-12 form) is required in addition to the online college application. 

  • International students with F-1 visas should apply through the LASC International Student Office on campus (SSB 116) or go to our International Student Program.

How to Use the Los Angeles Southwest College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
