A Message from the Dean
Thank you for your interest in Los Angeles City College and using our online application. Before you begin this application, if you do not have an email account, I suggest you get one through one of the websites that offer free email accounts (ie. Yahoo, Hotmail). Otherwise XAP Corporation will assign you an email account. Be sure to check your email account regularly for important admissions and registration information.
When you apply, you will be asked for your social security number. You do not have to provide us with your social security number to complete the admissions application; however, if you plan on applying for Financial Aid or EOP&S, you will be required to provide a social security number. All students are assigned a unique ID number. We call it the "88" number. After your online application has successfully be processed by the Admissions Office (usually within 48 hours - excluding holidays and weekends), we will email you your "88" number.
Please be aware that regulations require that an online application may only be submitted by the student. At the point of submission, you will be confirming that the application data being submitted belongs to you. Submitting an application for another person is not allowed.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation as soon as you submit your online application. If you do not receive this e-mail in your in-box, please check your junk, spam or bulk mail folder.
I hope you find your online experience student-friendly and educational. For your convenience, LACC students are also able to register for classes, check class schedules, view grades and future registration appointment times online through the Student Information System.
Once again, thank you for your interest in our school and I hope you have a great semester!
Sincerely
William A. Marmolejo
Dean, Student Services - Enrollment
