When submitting an application online, you will receive a confirmation email within 1 business day. Submission of an IVC application:
- Will assign your college of record as IVC (see College of Record below for more information).
- Means you do not need to complete a separate application for Saddleback College.

Will allow you to register online for classes at IVC, Saddleback College, and ATEP.
If you wish to apply to Saddleback College instead, please discontinue your IVC application now and proceed to www.saddleback.edu.
You must have an email address in order to submit an application online. Irvine Valley College is making every effort to communicate with students by email. We advise you to check your email account often.
If you do not have an email address, the statewide application through CCCApply will issue you an address at the time of application. You may also consider other free compatible services (i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail) to create an email account.
New and Former (returning) students must complete an admission application.

You are a new student if you never applied to Irvine Valley College or Saddleback College.

You are a former (returning) student if you previously attended Irvine Valley College or Saddleback College but have been away for a semester or more (not including summer).
Continuing Students do not need to reapply.
· You are a continuing student if you were enrolled in classes at Irvine Valley College or Saddleback college during the previous semester (not including summer).
College of Record
Irvine Valley College is part of the two-college South Orange County Community College District which also includes Saddleback College. You need to complete only one application to attend either or both colleges. By completing this application, your college of record will be designated as Irvine Valley College and we will service your requests. However, if you are concurrently enrolled at Saddleback College, you may be referred there for some services.
If you encounter an error or technical problem as you complete the application, support is available from the XAP corporation.
