You need to apply if :

  • You have never been a student at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College.

  • You have not been in attendance at either college for ther last two or more consecutive semester.

  • You submitted an application for future semester and you wish to attend a current one.

    Note:  You do not need to apply for multiple terms (e.g.: if you applied for Fall 2011, you do not need to apply for Spring 2012)

Announcement about 2012 Summer Semester


Reduced state funding for higher education has forced Grossmont College, like nearly every community college in California, to significantly reduce the number of classes that will be available for summer 2012. Only a few continuation classes in selected programs are expected to be offered. New students are unlikely to find available classes.

We realize the disappointment that students are feeling, and we expect the state budget crisis will continue to affect our ability to deliver the course offerings and services that our students are seeking. We are truly sorry for the negative impact these state budget cuts have had on our students and our college.

JUNE 2012 High School Graduates:

If you are applying for Summer or Fall 2012 and you will be graduating in June 2012, please enter the information on your application as if you have already graduated, FAILURE TO DO SO COULD DELAY YOUR REGISTRATION.

How to Use the Grossmont College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
