Announcement about 2012 Summer Semester
Reduced state funding for higher education has forced Grossmont College, like nearly every community college in California, to significantly reduce the number of classes that will be available for summer 2012. Only a few continuation classes in selected programs are expected to be offered. New students are unlikely to find available classes.
We realize the disappointment that students are feeling, and we expect the state budget crisis will continue to affect our ability to deliver the course offerings and services that our students are seeking. We are truly sorry for the negative impact these state budget cuts have had on our students and our college.
