Welcome to Orange Coast College!

 

International students (those requiring an F-1 Visa) please click here for application information.  Please do not use this application.

 

New and returning students, regardless of their educational background and goal, must apply for admission.  If you need financial assistance, apply for financial aid at the time of the application (you’ll be given an opportunity to apply via the FAFSA website at the end of this application.) 

 

If you've already submitted an online application, please DO NOT create a new account.  Please sign in using the user name and password you established the first time you signed in.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Continuing students (those who are registered in classes for the current term) do NOT need to reapply for admission.  Continuing students will automatically receive an appointment to register for the next term.  Appointments will be available via your MyOCC site a few weeks before registration starts so make sure to check your MyOCC portal.

 

OCC is NOW accepting applications for the following terms:

Summer 2008 

Session 1:  June 2-July 27, 2008
Session 2:  June 23-August 17, 2008

 

Fall 2008

August 25-December 14 2008

 

Important Information:  Once you submit your online application, you’ll receive an email immediately (sent to the email address you supplied on your application) instructing you what you need to do next.  Please make sure to read all the email you receive regarding your application. 

 

Note:  If your email address is incorrect you will not receive a confirmation of your application or instructions as to what you need to do to complete the admissions process.  Some Internet Service Providers filter mail from Orange Coast College so please check your trash folder if you don't receive an email response in about one week of submitting your application.  You can avoid this by adding occadmissions@mail.occ.cccd.edu to your Friendly Approved Senders list.  This is especially important if you use providers such as AOL, Yahoo, Earthlink, MSN, Hotmail, or Roadrunner and/or you use spam filters.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the Orange Coast College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
