Tips for
filling out the online application:
RESIDENCY: If
you have not lived in California for the last
two years or are not a U.S.
citizen, you are required to show proper documentation to the Office of
Admissions and Records located in Building 1, first floor.
If you do not have a Social Security
Number or do not wish to disclose that number on this form, please DO NOT
submit an online application. Instead submit a PAPER
application which is available online at http://www.ohlone.edu/org/admissions/forms/appforadmission.pdf .
If you are not a U.S.
citizen, please be sure to bring your immigration documentation with you.
STUDENT TYPE: You will need to
identify what type of student you are (First time, Returning, etc). If you have
attended any other college you are classified a Transfer . If you are currently
in a K-12 grade at the time you intend to be enrolled at Ohlone College you are classified as SPECIAL or
SP. (see special instructions at bottom
of page**)
Please check our Web page or Class
Schedule for information regarding Orientation and/or Placement Testing.
You may contact the Counseling Office at 510-659-6110 for academic
counseling.
STUDENT ID: At this time, online applications are processed
approximately every two business days. Within 48-72 hours after you
have submitted your application and any necessary documentation, you will
receive an e-mail from Ohlone. This e-mail will include your
student ID number and registration instructions. If you are missing
any documentation, you will also receive subsequent e-mails with instructions.
If you have not received an
e-mail response after one week has passed, please check the Spam filter on
your email, and then call Admissions and Records at (510) 659-6100 for your
student ID number.
**SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR K-12
STUDENTS
If you are a K-12 student you must
reapply to Ohlone
College each term that
you plan to attend. Please be advised that K-12 students may NO longer enroll
in P.E. or Athletic courses.
This means that as a K-12 student
you must submit the appropriate signatures to complete your
application (parent's, teacher's, and principal's signature for K-9 students;
parent's and principal's signature for 10-12 students). Be advised:
You should complete the forms while your school is still in session so
that you can secure the required signatures. Then submit all this
information at least 4 weeks before the Ohlone College
semester begins so that you may register as soon as possible. Forms are
available on the Web site listed above and at your local high school.
You can find the current class schedule
online via WebAdvisor at https://webadvisor.ohlone.edu or
you can buy a copy at the Ohlone College Bookstore.
