You need to apply if :

  • You have never been a student at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College.

  • You have not been in attendance at either college for at least two consecutive semester.

  • You submitted an application for future semester and you wish to attend a current one.

    Note:  You do not need to apply for multiple terms (e.g.: if you applied for Summer 2008, you do not need to apply for Fall 2008)

 

Social Security Number:

Social Security number is no longer being used as your student ID.  Beginning with Summer 2008, you will be assigned a unique 7-digit ID.  However, your Social Security number is still important and required for Hope and Lifelong learning (1098T) tax form, Financial Aid, and Board of Governor Fee Waiver (BOGW) transactions. 

You may now apply for:

Summer 2008 Sessions (6/2/2008/-8/2/2008)
Fall 2008 Semester (8/25/2008-12/22/2008)

You may apply starting 9/8/2008 for:

Spring 2009 Semester (01/26/2009-6/8/2009)


International Students:

JUNE 2008 High School Graduates:

If you are applying for Summer or Fall 2008 and you will be graduating in June 2008, please enter the information on your application as if you have already graduated, FAILURE TO DO SO COULD DELAY YOUR REGISTRATION.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.
  • PLEASE SELECT one of the following five enrollment categories AFTER you have completed this online application. You may return to this page by clicking on the Introduction link on the Confirmation page.

    New Student - first time enrollment at any college.

    Re-Admit - returning to Grossmont after an absence.

    Transfer Student - first time at Grossmont, but have attended another college.

    ESL - English is not the first language you learned, or is not the language that you speak at home most of the time.

    International - attending under an F-1 visa.

How to Use the Grossmont College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
