Ø New and returning students, regardless of their educational background and goal, must apply for admission.
Ø Continuing students (those who are registered in classes for the current term) do NOT need to reapply for admissions. Continuing students will be able to view their registration appointment via their MyGWC site beginning April 1 for Summer 2008 and early June for Fall 2008.
If you need financial assistance, apply for financial aid at the time of the application (you’ll be given an opportunity to apply at the end of this application.)
High School Students – Concurrently enrolled High School Students may use the online application, but must submit an approved K-12 Special form before registering for classes. Forms and instructions may be downloaded from the Golden West College website, picked up in the Golden West College Admissions Office or your High School.

Note: If your email address is incorrect you will not receive a confirmation of your application or instructions as to what you need to do to complete the admissions process. Some Internet Service Providers filter mail from the Coast Community College District so please check your trash folder if you don't receive an email response within 2-3 days of submitting your application. You can avoid this by adding GWCAdmissions@cccd.edu and GWCAdmissions@gwc.cccd.edu to your Friendly Approved Senders list.
