We are accepting applications for:

  • Summer 2008 (June 2008 - August 2008)
  • Fall 2008 (August 2008 - December 2008)

Registration dates:

  • Summer 2008  - Priority Starts 5-5-08
  • Fall 2008  - Priority Starts 7-7-08

LASB - LAS: Social /Behavioral Sciences
LAAH - LAS: Arts and Humanities
RADT - Radiologic Technology

If you need assistance in choosing a major, please contact the Counseling Office at 722-6300 ext. 6338 before submitting your online application.

 

When Applying Online Remember to:

Answer all questions as they relate to the term you are applying for.  For example, if you are applying for Fall 2008 and you will be a high school graduate in June, then you will be a first time student for Fall 2008.  

New Students -- Complete the online application.  The account you create with this service is only for the application process.  You will be asked to provide an email address.  It is important to remember this address.  After your application is approved, AVC will email you a Student ID number and a myAVC account user ID to the email address you used to apply with.

Returning Students -- If you were enrolled at Antelope Valley college during the prior semester you may register online using myAVC.  You do not need to submit an application. 

If you are a Special Admit student -- a student enrolling in college courses who will not be graduated from high school as of the start of the college semester.  Students who take college classes and K-12 classes at the same time have additional enrollment requirements. -- Complete the online application.  Download the Special Student Admittance Packet.  Please call the Admission and Records Office at (661) 722-6504 with any questions. 

If you are an international student -- a citizen of another country visiting or planning to visit the United States to study on an F-1 Student Visa -- please do NOT complete this online application.  Contact the Antelope Valley College Admissions and Records Office for special application instructions and forms.  Please call (661) 722-6332 with questions.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the Antelope Valley College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
