Thank you for choosing Allan Hancock College--a California public community college located in Santa Barbara County.

You need to apply for admission to Allan Hancock College if you are a new student to AHC or are returning after an absence of one or more semesters. 

If you choose to apply online, you must apply for admission at least 2 hours before you register.  Remember, Applying and registering are two different functions.  Once you submit your application, and wait the two hour processing time you may register as long as WebReg is available.

Web Reg is available to all students who have a current application for admission on file, with the exception of International students who may enroll on regular in-person registration dates.  Please check the current class schedule for dates, locations, and times. 

WebReg (online registration) is no longer available for any course offered during the summer schedule of classes.  Please read through the summer schedule to determine if registration is still available for your course selection: http://www.hancockcollege.edu/Default.asp?Page=1442

Open WebReg is July 1 - August 13 from 9am - 9pm on a daily basis.

International F-1 visa students must complete the application for admission and an Allan Hancock College's international student application.  Information and application materials are available at http://www.hancockcollege.edu/Default.asp?Page=79.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the Allan Hancock College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
