Summer Term: 6/10/2013 - 7/19/2013

                       Fall Term:  8/26/2013 - 12/21/2013

Here are some instructions for completing the online application:

  • We strongly recommend you provide your social security number on the application as it will enable you to retrieve your MyGav login quicker, apply for financial aid and claim the education tax credit.
  • If you are a temporary/permanent resident, be prepared to provide the INS number from your residency card.
  • If you are an International Student DO NOT fill out this application.  Please go to our webpage for instructions and a packet of information/forms to fill out.
  • Before submitting your application be sure to check for accuracy.  Any mistakes or missing information will delay the processing of your application.

Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your application.  The actual processing time of your application may take up to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). 

After your application has been processed, another e-mail will follow with more information on the enrollment process.

New Students - Must complete the online application.

Continuing Students -If you are currently enrolled at Gavilan College you do not need to complete an online application. 

Returning Students - If you have been absent for two semesters or more, you need to complete the online application.

High School Students - Please complete the online application and refer to our website for further instructions on the registration process.

International Students - DO NOT complete the online application.  Please refer to our website for further instructions.

How to Use the Gavilan College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
