Admissions Application
We are currently accepting applications for
Fall 2010 for new and returning students ONLY
NOTE: You do not need to apply for multiple terms, the Summer applications will be valid for Fall semester, even if you do not enroll in classes.
Eligibility:
- You are eligible to apply online if, you are 18 years or older or a High School Graduate. For students who are under 18 or not a High School graduate please see additional critiria below.
- You need to apply if you have never attended SWC or did not enroll one or more consecutive semesters.
- If you are an International Student and wish to apply, please go to the Admissions & Registration link, and then select International Student's information page on our website, prior to submitting your online application.
- Once you submit your application, registration instructions will be sent to you via email. Make sure to add admissions@swccd.edu to your safe sender list as most information will be sent to you via email. Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive email from admissions@swccd.edu within 24 hours.
Social Security:
Social Security number is no longer mandatory to apply online. However, your Social Security number is still important and required for Hope and Lifelong learning (1098T) tax form, Financial Aid, and Board of Governor Fee Waiver (BOGW) transactions.
Under 18, or a current High School Student:
If you will be enrolling in college classes while you are attending High School as a 9 - 11th grade student. You will be able to submit your application online, and in addition to the online application you will need to bring in a High School Special Form. Please down load this form located at Admissions & Registration printable forms, or see your High School Counselor for additional information. Failure to do so could delay your registration process.
Military Selective Service - Male Applicants
You have an obligation to register in accordance with the federal Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App 451 et seq.) if you are a U.S. citizen or male alien living in the United States whose age is 18 through 25. Additional information can be obtained at the U.S. Post Office or at the Web site of the Selective Service http://www.sss.gov/
