Here are some tips for filling out your application:      









 

 

 
  • You will need to apply to Merced College if you are new or have not attended for one or more semesters.  We encourage you to review the Merced College web site for more information.

New Students: Never attended Merced College?  Complete the online application by clicking on the "Begin Application for Merced College" button at the bottom of the page.  You may need to scroll to the bottom of this page.
 

Continuing Students: If you were enrolled at Merced College during the previous semester you do not need to submit a new application.  For an educational planning appointment, contact the Guidance Division at 381-6478, or the online counselor at:  onlinecounselor@mccd.edu.
 
Returning Students: If you previously attended Merced College, but have been away for one or more semesters, complete the online application by clicking on the "Begin Application for Merced College" button at the bottom of the page.  You may need to scroll to the bottom of this page.
 

K-12 Students: If you are a K-12 student you must re-apply to the college each term that you plan to attend.  K-12 students must submit an approved "Permit for Special K-12 Students to Attend Merced College Classes"  in person.
 

International Students: If you are planning to visit the United States to study on an F1 visa do not complete this application.  Please contact our international students office at: http://www.mccd.edu/services/international/index.html

How to Use the Merced College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
