Attention! Due to the high demand of classes, all Summer classes are now full. The college is no longer accepting enrollment applications for the Summer session. Students have the option of attending the first day of class and requesting an add slip from the instructor. The Admissions office will only process applications for those students who have obtained an add slip from the instructor. | |
You DO NOT need to apply more than once – you will automatically receive information about the next semester registration as well.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED IN THE PRINTED SCHEDULE OF CLASSES.
Who Should Apply Online?
- If you have never attended Valley College, please complete this application.
- Los Angeles Valley College students who have not attended in the last year may also use this application.
- Students who are currently enrolled at a high school may use this application, but you will also need to submit a Special Student K-12 Attendance Form signed by your parents and approved by your high school counselor or principal. This form must be submitted in-person to the Admissions and Records Office or to the LAVC Representative assigned to your high school.
- Students in 8th grade or under may not use this application. There is a special admissions process that requires you to pick up an application packet in Admissions and Records and return the completed packet 2 weeks before the start of the semester.

International students with F-1 visas should apply through the International Student Office on campus or visit the college website http://www.lavc.edu/StudentServWebsite/international.html for assistance.
How long does the process take?
You will receive an email confirmation within 4 business days after submitting your online application. If you do not receive a confirmation within the allotted time frame, please check your junk mail, spam or bulk mail folders.

How to Use the Los Angeles Valley College Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
