We are pleased that you have chosen to apply to one of largest most diverse community college in California. CCSF provides not only an outstanding curriculum, including over 50 academic programs and more than 100 vocational certificate programs, but also has faculty who are committed to teaching and providing student support services. CCSF is an inclusive community, where all people are enriched by diversity and multicultural understanding.

  New Students:

New Students will need to go through an enrollment process before registering for classes.  After completing the online admissions application, you may obtain additional information on our CCSF website regarding credit admissions and noncredit admissions.
  Re-Admit Students (Former and Returning Students):
Students who have been away from CCSF for two or more semesters) must complete this online application and may register for courses via the internet during the registration period. Please see an academic counselor prior to registering for courses.
  Continuing Students:
Continuing students may register online for classes on the day and time indicated on the registration appointment. WebSTARS is available from 6:00 am to 11:45 pm Monday to Saturday.
  International Students:
Students with an F-1 Visa should follow these instructions for applying to City College of San Francisco.
  High School Students:
Students currently attending high school with at least 120 high school credits may enroll in CCSF courses. After submitting the online application, the appropriate forms and transcripts must be submitted to Admissions and Records.

Reingreso de Estudiantes (Antiguos y de re-ingreso):
Los estudiantes que no han asistido al CCSF por dos o más semestres deben completar una vez mas la solicitud por medio de la pagina Web y pueden registrarse para los cursos por internet durante el período de inscripción. Por favor vea a un consejero académico antes de inscribirse para los cursos.

Estudiantes Actuales:
Estudiantes actuales pueden registrarse por Internet para las clases para el día y la hora indicada en la cita de inscripción. WebSTARS está disponible de 6:00 a 11:45 pm de lunes a sábado.

Estudiantes del Extrangero/Internacionales:
Los estudiantes con una Visa F-1 deberan seguir estas instrucciones para inscribirsese a City College de San Francisco.

Estudiantes de la Escuela Secundaria/Preparatoria:
Los estudiantes que actualmente estan asistiendo la secundaria/preparatoria y que hayan terminado al menos 120 unidades de escuela secundaria pueden inscribirse en los cursos de CCSF. Después de someter la solicitud por internet, las formas apropiadas y las copias deben ser enviadas al departamento de Admissions y Registros.

Application Instructions

  • Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of the application and follow the directions.
  • NO FEES are charged for a California Community College admission application. Fees may be charged for the additional international application from each campus.
  • REQUEST official transcripts from previous schools attended be sent to the records office at the address below.

How to Use the City College of San Francisco Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
